Where it excels and where it fails

The beds offered amazing comfort during my stay, and the outdoor pool provided a nice spot to relax. Breakfast had good options that kept us satisfied throughout our trip.

Sadly, the shuttle service to the airport was inconsistent and misleading, causing unexpected delays. Additionally, noise from neighboring rooms was quite distracting at night, impacting our sleep quality.

A surprisingly memorable stay

Woke up to a generous breakfast spread each morning. The staff's friendliness made the atmosphere welcoming, and the room was spacious and clean.

Unfortunately, the shuttle service was confusing. we had to wait longer than expected and navigating the dim lighting in the hallway was challenging.

Breakfast was really good, kids enjoyed it.

Hurricane Harbor Splashtown was a highlight with its thrilling water slides and lazy river. The hotel staff even gave us a free shuttle to nearby shopping which made our trip even more convenient.

However, we faced an issue with the airport shuttle service. It took way too long to arrive and left us waiting when we were eager to get to the hotel.

The Holiday Inn Express provided a comfortable and efficient stay for my business trip. The room was clean and well-equipped, featuring a spacious work desk and reliable internet access, allowing me to prepare for meetings seamlessly. The staff was courteous and attentive, promptly addressing any inquiries I had during my stay. Additionally, the hotel's proximity to the airport was beneficial, ensuring minimal travel time to my early flight.

Mixed Experience with Room Comfort

Had a one-night stay and while the shuttle to IAH was convenient, the room felt neglected. The AC was dirty, and the bathroom needed attention. However, the front desk staff were very helpful. Tip, Confirm room cleanliness before settling in.

Unfortunately, the elevator was unreliable during my stay, misbehaving several times, which could be quite inconvenient. The guest entrance doors seemed broken except for the main entrance, and housekeeping missed fresh towels on the second night, leaving me to search for extras. The swimming pool appeared unclean, making it less inviting for a dip.

Outdated but comfy

We stayed one night in a King Room. The breakfast looked good, but we left too early to try it. The decor feels like it hasn't changed since the '70s—major bummer. Staff was decent enough, but the place feels super humid everywhere except at the front desk. Could use some serious upkeep.

Ask for a room away from the elevator to avoid noisy interruptions during your stay.

The hotel had a lovely, welcoming ambiance with bright colors and easy accessibility features that made getting around a breeze for seniors like me.

One thing to note is that I had a bit of a wait at check-in with only one person at the desk, so maybe try to arrive at a quieter time! 😊
